Music Wanted – All Genres – Instrumental Tracks – Updated

8 Apr

New Music Opportunity

PLEASE FORWARD:

Attention Musicians, DJs, Producers, Indie Artists, Singer/Songwriters!

We’re working on behalf of a Film and TV music library seeking to expand their sound library for 2011. Please peruse the ad below
and respond to the email address, or respond to us directly for more
information.

CALL FOR MUSIC SUBMISSIONS

Hello:

We are a music library currently sourcing more materials for priority film
and TV placement. If you would like to have your music considered for use
in TV, film, advertising, etc, we would love to hear from you.

You can visit VaultAudio.com to check us out and see our past and present
artists featured in various venues.

At this time we are looking for instrumental tracks only any and all
genres are welcome, some suggestions for you: full-length tracks, sound
beds, DJ instrumental mixes, reggae/dub, beats, country or bluegrass
instrumentals, rock/pop/emo instrumental only tracks, gothic/ambient
instrumental only tracks, instrumental versions of any of your vocal or
rap tracks, etc.

Do we accept vocal tracks at all? Sort of. We are not looking for vocal
tracks with lyrics and a verse, chorus structure. Our vocal category is
for abstract songs with vocals that are more for background or mood music.

We just ask that you send 2-3 mp3 samples of your work to
jaye@vaultaudio.com for consideration. If we like what we hear,
we’ll send a subsequent email guiding you through the full submission
process with soundfile tagging instructions.

All earnings and PRO royalties for the songs in our catalog are split
50/50. Should you take an interest, again, we'd very much love to hear
from you.

Thanks!

Good Luck,

On the Road with John Scott’s JDSMethod: Joannie Chiu’s Heartfelt Collegiate Endorsement

27 Feb

As the John Scott School of Voice (JDSVoice.com) prepares to launch the JDS Method Vocalist Certification on March 1, 2011 academician Joannie Chiu, a JDSMethod-certified vocalist and instructor in her own right, gives the inaugural program high marks for affordability, college-level content, and ease of use and understanding.

A University of California graduate, Joannie’s also earned certification from a world-renowned online music college.  She says she was pleasantly surprised at the interactive, comprehensive, and user-friendly nature of the JDSMethod.

“[In college],” says Joannie, “They would tell me, ‘Oh you sing well,’ but I didn’t know exactly what I did right.  I couldn’t recover how I produced those beautiful notes because the voice is such a dynamic instrument.  The JDSMethod was so specific and clear that I could do it over and over, and it’s always accurate and consistent.  I was able to be consistent in my singing.”

Singing Classical, Pop, Contemporary Gospel/CCM and R&B selections, Joannie’s grasp of the JDSMethod translates seamlessly across the board in all genres–and it’s affordable for the value.  “[Comparing college] to this, I can actually apply the tools in my career right away [at 10% or less of the cost of college-level courses].  It’s a lot better deal, and good all around.”

Before studying with John, she continues, “I wasn’t able to [sustain] a high A well in performances.  I’ve improved, especially my higher notes.  I just did a performance last year and was able to sing a high B Flat.  A big breakthrough for my voice.  It wasn’t hard at all, it was easy.”

About The JDS Method Vocalist Certification Interactive, weekly one-on-one coursework begins on March 1, 2011 and is generally taught online.  Costs vary per individual student goals and needs.  In-person study options are available in the Bay Are for an additional fee.  Visit JDSVoice.com or email JDSVoicelessons@gmail.com for more information and free tutorials.

About Joannie Chiu

A Bay Area-based UC Berkeley graduate in Music, Joannie’s also been certified for her Berklee School of Music advanced certificate studies.  She regularly performs piano and vocal pieces in the San Francisco/Berkeley region while combining the JDSMethod practices with her own in her vocal instruction studio.  Click this link to visit Joannie at YouTube.

The soon to be released “Like a Meteor” (written by Jamie Lynn Noon) has been nominated for a 2010 Hollywood Music In Media Award (HMMA).

This is Jamie’s second HMMA nomination. In 2009, she earned a nomination for “Second of a Spark”, the lead track on her debut release (A Moment to Break).

High Praise About the JDSMethod: Gabriel Weiner Chimes In

18 Oct

The John Scott School of Voice (JDSVoice.com) is pleased to share even more great feedback about the innovations in vocal study, mastery, and instruction that we continue to provide as we coach and assist our students, helping them to excel and improve as vocalists in terms of career longevity, technique, and overall singing enjoyment.

Check out vocal instructor Gabriel Weiner’s testimonial about how valuable he found our JDSMethod singing lessons (video, audio, and one-on-one instruction modalities) to be!

Gabriel writes:

“First of all, all I think about you is positive…you seem like a very healthy, sincere, honest and mature man. These qualities come off in your videos, immediately putting the student at ease. That initial connection, even through video, is vital. You possess this serenity and confidence that is a real treat and help.

About the JDSMethod, I really believe you have distilled and put together something really simple, effective and reliable.

I have read dozens and dozens of singing books from classical singing to pop to rock to all of it, books over a hundred years old and books that came out within the last decade. I have browsed it all, I am probably familiar with all the voice methods and teachers online and I have downloaded and purchased many singing products.

As far as voice methods go, you seriously have put together the best one. I think that you just go right to the heart of the matter (The Balance Point), and you know what it takes to access it, isolate it and strengthen it.

I really wish you the best of success, and have no doubts that you reap and will continue to reap the wonderful fruits of what you have so passionately sown.

I just love your stuff! Go JDSMethod!”

Thanks, Gabriel! Click this link to visit Gabriel Weiner at YouTube.
